Abundant painting opportunities include pristine rivers, glacial fed streams, snow topped mountains, high alpine lakes, ancient petroglyphs, historic ranches, and of course very big skies. You very well may get to see impressive wildlife including elk, moose, bear, buffalo, pronghorn, and deer! The group will even visit the National Wildlife Museum to see truly great landscape and wildlife art, where our instructors will lead a talk and tour of the museum, followed by dinner in Jackson Hole.

The Town : Dubois, Wyoming

Picture
One of the last true working western towns, nestled in the great Rocky Mountains, Dubois is located pleasantly just over Togwotee pass from Jackson Hole and the Tetons.  Surrounded by the rugged Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone to the north, it sits with the mighty Wind River Range marching along on the south. With loads of charm and plenty of honest grit, it is home to real cowboys, backcountry adventurers, and world renowned artists alike. There are few places that offer more expansive wild country and raw natural beauty than what surrounds this wonderful little cowboy town.
